Rated 1 out of 5 by dhallib from Dual wall jar is junk This jar broke a few years ago, leaking and even cracked. The wonderful motor has been stashed in a cabinet, useless, taking up space. I've checked regularly on replacing it, but it's still stupidly, insanely expensive, especially since it's going to be just as unreliable as the original. We've gotten along with my 1969 Vitamix, which has been great, but needing to finally move on. And it won't be with this. I guess the lovely motor will head to the garbage. Do not get this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Beta-0417 from Crazy price for replacement blender jar. Same issue as everyone else here. We have used our blender for a couple of years and are very happy with it. However in recent weeks the jar has been leaking from the bottom jar around the drive assembly. We are shocked and disappointed to learn that a replacement is $300 !!. This is insane. No excuses.

Rated 1 out of 5 by romeovictoractual from Our jar leaks profusely; not repairable. Sad! My wife and I used to enjoy our K400 blender. It was a gift from her mom. The kids used to love making smoothies with it. Our jar, however, has been leaking profusely for months, and I have been unable to discover any way to repair it. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that a replacement jar costs more than the whole blender originally did! This is tantamount to extortion. We will be avoiding Kitchenaid appliances from now on, and encouraging everyone to do the same, unless your company can make this right.
