Rated 5 out of 5 by TuesdayJ from Love This Beater!! I bought mine a few years ago from Bed Bath and Beyond. I store it in the original box and always hand wash it. Most recently I made a double batch of Dr. Gregor's black bean burgers. The recipe instructs to run the beans and other ingredients in a food processor. On a whim I tried mashing and blending in my KitchenAid with this attachment. Mashed the beans on stir. After running the other ingredients through my food processor adding it to the mixer for a final stir. It worked beautifully!! Thank you!! I recommend this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Corndog from Peeling paint makes for a bad product! This works ok. Kinda just sticks everything to the side of the bowl and alway leaves some un-mixed stuff at the bottom of the bowl. You will need to use a spatula multiple times to fully mix anything. But, the biggest issue for me is that the paint has started to come off after a couple years and I'm sure I have unknowingly consumed some of it. It would be so much better if there was a stainless version of this paddle to avoid this problem.

Before I knew it the beater broke at the upper neck into three pieces. Wasn't a happy camper.
