This bowl is large enough to take double and quadruple recipes. I am planning on buying a second 8 Quart bowl for making items that require batter plus beaten egg whites for waffles, Chantilly Cream, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kermy from Surprise Fits 7 & 8 Qt Mixers I was pleased to discover that this bowl work equally well with the 7qt Pro and 8qt commercial mixers that I own. An interesting point is that all the tools seem interchangeable as well flat beaters, wire whisks, and dough hooks. Although this makes me wonder if there is really any difference between the two machines aside from the length of the product warranty and price?

Rated 3 out of 5 by Chef Rob from A work horse in a small restaurant kitchen As others have mentioned the handle broke off. I took it to a welding shop and for 25$ it’s fixed for life! KitchenAid should put a little more effort into securing the handle and lift points.
