Automatic Lift & Lower

Lowers bread into the self-centering racks upon sensing bread in a slot, then lifts once it has reached the selected shade.

Auto Keep Warm

Initiates when toast hasn't been removed from the toaster within 45 seconds, and automatically lowers to keep warm, for up to three minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jqjet from Beautiful counter top appliance that performs I've only had the appliance a month and so far it toasts evenly and consistently. The appliance itself is pretty large for a a toaster but it does look beautiful on my counter next to my Kitchenaid Professional 6Qt mixer. The keep warm function is a nice touch but i find my toast gets dry in the process; it may be the bread that I use.. The only thing I would change, is to have a start button on the toaster as an alternative to the automatic lowering of the bread into the toaster. i used to prep everything for my breakfast including putting the bread in the old toaster and then i would start it just moments before my eggs are done cooking. Now I have to put the bread in the toaster at that same time. Its just a change in my routine that I am sure that I will get used to.

This is replacement to a 20 year old KitchenAid toaster that survived 10 moves with the military and finally had enough. Truly a wonderful upgrade and one worth the price!
