Rated 2 out of 5 by Paradise Maggie from WIsh they could come up with a better product I use my griddle top often but even after hand washing and rubber utensils the top is scratching and the coating has disappeared making it a stick-to surface. Please invent a better griddle top. I've had my stove for about a year.

I wish I had read these reviews first. The non stick surface is almost gone and the griddle looks terrible after just a couple months. We used rubber spatulas while cooking and were careful when cleaning. To spend $65 for a replacement seems unfair and perhaps a waste of money. Very disappointed.

Absolute junk. 3 uses out of it before the finish started failing to release foods. 5 uses before the finish flaked off. Silicone tools and a wash cloth to clean it off. For the love of all things, product developers, just bring about an actual cast iron version. Preferably a double sided grill plate/griddle plate. This fits my stove wonderfully. Better than any cast iron replacement from another brand would. Make something that's not adding to a landfill within a month!

I wish you could come up with a better griddle then this one. I’ve always have had good luck with Kitchen Aid, but this is horrible. Don’t buy it!! I hope they will come up with something better.

I will not purchase this, however, due to the negative reviews on this product…which I REALLY wanted because I had a Decor oven with a cast iron griddle and LOVED it. I just purchased a Kitchenaid oven hoping it would live up to my Decor. It has except for this. Shame on you Kitchenaid for selling out for something “cheap”. Hopefully your loyal, trusting consumers will be able to purchase a GREAT cast iron griddle for your very expensive ovens SOON!!
