For assisted cooking modes, auto presets and numerical power settings are simple to use. The seamless design is also easy to clean.

Additional Features

Pan Size Detection

Recognizes the size and placement of cookware to generate heat directly within the pan. An indicator light and sound will alert you if you turn the cooktop on without a pan on the selected element or if your pan is not compatible with induction cooking.

Control Lock

Disables cooking mode for easy cleaning when not in use.

Frameless Design

Allows flush installation for a seamless look or standard installation to fit an existing cooktop cutout.

Requires Induction-Compatible Cookware

Such as multi-ply stainless steel, enamelled steel or cast iron. Aluminum and copper cookware will not work unless it has a base made of iron or steel. Look for pans marked "Works with Induction" or test to see if a magnet will stick to the bottom.

The licking feature is awesome as it provides additional counter space when not in use. Just put a placemat over and you have additional space. Easy to clean.

The cooktop is black and the controls 'blend' in with the cooktop. The warning when something is placed on top of the controls--AND, that it shuts off any burner that is turned on--is VERY annoying.

Rated 3 out of 5 by CountryGal from Spacing of elememts is a concern with 31" cooktop Had to replace a previous 30" induction cooktop and had to settle for this one because the installers said it was the only model that would fit the counter cutout that I have. In the summer I will be using it for canning. I need to have enough space for my canner, a medium size pot and two other smaller pots. The elements are too close together to fit them all at the same time and not be crowded:-(
