42'' Island-Mount, 3-Speed Canopy Hood

This 42-inch ventilation hood is ideal over an island cooktop or range. You'll get a powerful motor to handle your most aromatic ingredients. Plus, with Auto Speed Setting, the fan speed will adjust up or down depending on the level of power required.

Power Boost Function

Assists high-heat cooking by activating maximum fan speed for five minutes to help quickly clear smoke and steam. This function turns on automatically if the hood's sensor detects high-heat cooking on multiple burners and can also be activated manually.

Automatic Turn On

Provides intuitive assistance to help keep smoke and steam from building up in the kitchen. If the hood's sensor detects high-heat cooking on multiple burners while the controls are off, it will automatically turn on the fan and set it to Power Boost.

Perimeter Ventilation

Pairs with any 30-inch and 36-inch range or cooktop with a total burner output up to 65,000 BTU

4-Speed Electronic Glass Touch Control

Provides electronic operation with visual feedback on settings and selections. Features low, medium, high and power boost settings, so you can choose the right fan speed for every cooking adventure, from gentle simmering to high-heat searing.

Auto Speed Setting

Rated 5 out of 5 by lbpsc17 from Plenty of CFM's to do the job! I installed the 42" over top a 36" stove top in my island. The volume of air pull is great. The style and design are fabulous. Everyone comments about how great it works and how attractive it is. My only two dings are the fact the control buttons don't light until you push them. I think these lights should be on all the time to make them easier to read. I was hoping the unit would be a little quieter but I have a 10' kitchen ceiling so there is a lot of travel before you are above the ceiling. Overall, I love the unit and how it performs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PDULANEY from Greatest vent hood ever! I have downdrafts for 25 years. We changed to gas cooktop and my husband was convinced that a vent hood would be better than a downdraft. Boy is it! This unit has an auto function that senses how much smoke there is and adjusts the fan speed accordingly, or you can choose the speed you want. There is even a boost that puts the fan on “super speed” for up to 10 minutes. No more lingering smoke or odors. This is so much better than my downdrafts. We got the 42” and we are very happy.
