Wall Range Door Handle Medallion Set, Red

This Wall Range Door Handle Medallion Set, Red provides an alternate color option for the end caps of your KitchenAid® appliance handles. The kit includes (2) red medallions, (1) 1/8" hex allen wrench, and (1) 3mm hex allen wrench. The medallions can easily be replaced by removing the center screw and replacing it with the alternate medallion. Order one medallion kit per handle. Installation of these handle medallions will require no tools, disassembly or repair experience. Make sure you unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.

Rated 1 out of 5 by PSAD from Sizing not exact Original diameter 23mm Diameter of part #W10846207.....22.3mm It sure seems like you'd never be able to notice, right? But we have an oven with a microwave on top, and a convection oven below. It turns out that the original medallion on the top handle faded! Something I would not have expected - possibly UV exposure? But the new medallion, with the slightly smaller diameter is obviously not an exact replacement when viewed in the context of the medallion on the lower oven handle. You can see past the edges of the new unit and it doesn't look right. It's hard to believe that KitchenAid doesn't have the quality control on these parts that they should. 0.7mm is a large diameter difference in the age of modern machining.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Piano lady 73 from Really??? This medallion is a really fun way to accent your large stainless appliances and discreetly customize your kitchen. However, it is sad that KA sells replacement colors, (other than the red that comes with the appliances), for $45+ for 2!! You would hope that this small but important detail would be a “thank you” gift from KA for spending LOTS of money to have their product. I just received my entire kitchen of KA appliances yesterday to the tune of approx $30K. I need 16 of these medallions to dress up my new appliances!! I don’t have another $800 to spend on blue medallions. The amount of goodwill generated by an appreciation gift from KA to new owners would far outweigh the financial gain from selling these overpriced bits of bling!! I would be sharing my awesome experience with friends and family, singing the praises of KA! They already know what a good appliance KA makes but very few know of the “over the top”, “unexpected” surprise and appreciation KA is offering to their customers. So KA, don’t store this for “future consideration”., do something NOW! Show your customers how much you appreciate their very large purchase and how they will feel about you everyday when they walk in their kitchen! —-Proud KA owners instead of being reminded daily of the lack of consideration from KA when they see their standard red medallions! It’s called “Lagniappe”. Hope to hear a positive response from you soon.
