The only problem I had was trying to get the top of the container with the blades in it. Of course after trying to turn it to unlock( old one had to twist the top) I finally pulled up on it and it came off. Lol

It worked great the power kept trying to pull the blender down to the bottom I really had to keep a firm grip on it nothing like my last one. The last one had about half the power but did last me almost 20 years so can't complain too much. I just didn't know what I was missing until I bought this kitchen aid, I love it so far.
