Rated 5 out of 5 by baker 15 from Great bowl I purchased this mixer and glass bowl about 8 years ago. The glass bowl finally broke with me just tapping my spoon on the side of it. I got almost 10 years out of it so I wasent very upset. What bothers me is that I cant get another one. I have been trying to get one through Kitchen aid for 6 months and still on a waiting list. I did purchase the metal bowl and you have to get new attachments with it because its wider. The attachment whip is flemsy and bent the first time I used it. Did not mix well at all. Very disappointed. Hopefully they will get some new glass bowls soon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Wonderful 6500 pro series Reading many negative reviews here about this bowl breaking. I’ve used mine almost daily for two years and haven’t had an issue. I can’t imagine breaking this bowl unless you man handle it. Also people, you can purchase the 6 quart stainless bowl that fits just like the glass bowl on your 6 quart bowl lift KitchenAid. I have both and they both perform fabulously.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CathyH8409 from Love the mixer, glass bowl cracks! I absolutely love this mixer. However, the bowl has cracked and I can't find a replacement bowl. I only wash the bowl by hand, store it out of the way so nothing can damage it, and it just cracked on the lip of the bowl while washing. Now, I'm unable to use this mixer which is very upsetting!
