I can’t imagine breaking this bowl unless you man handle it. Also people, you can purchase the 6 quart stainless bowl that fits just like the glass bowl on your 6 quart bowl lift KitchenAid. I have both and they both perform fabulously.

I only wash the bowl by hand, store it out of the way so nothing can damage it, and it just cracked on the lip of the bowl while washing. Now, I'm unable to use this mixer which is very upsetting!

I hand wash the bowl, but it’s now broken and I can’t use it. I see this is a recurring issue. Would not recommend since I can’t seem to get a replacement bowl.
