There was a chip in the paint, the attachments fit loosely, and there was a pin near the top of the attachment port that stuck out and kept me from using my ice cream maker attachment. I called Kitchen Aid and they sent me a refurbished buttery lemon kitchen aid in exchange for my older one and it works perfectly!
